Senior Fullstack Engineer - Workplace Technology

ABOUT THE JOB  

We are seeking a motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer who is passionate, results-driven, and accountable for the design and delivery of digital applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both frontend applications and backend services, APIs, and integrations that support digital workplace experiences. 

 
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that support digital workplace experiences. 

• Contribute to solution architecture and technical design across frontend, backend, cloud, and integration layers. 

• Lead solution design discussions and provide technical guidance to engineers across the squad. 

• Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, coding standards, reusable patterns, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Partner closely with Product Owners, Designers, and business stakeholders to deliver customer 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions using CI/CD and DevOps practices. 

• Support production environments, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call responsibilities where required. 

• Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, supportable, and compliant with enterprise engineering and security standards. 

• Drive root cause analysis and permanent remediation of production issues. 

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical decision-making while remaining hands-on. 

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. 

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  

• 8 years’ + experience working in Software Development:  Solid experience in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript working with React.js or React Native. 

• Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and microservices. 

• Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Spring Boot. 

• Experience integrating applications with enterprise platforms and cloud services. 

• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, security, and performance optimisation. 

• Experience contributing to architecture and technical design decisions. 

• Experience supporting production environments, including incident management and on-call support. 

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing strategies, CI/CD, and Agile delivery methodologies. 

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, containerised environments, CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and cloud-native application delivery. 

• Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology;  

• Experience in using front-end testing and test runners (eg. Selenium, Mocha/Chai/Jest).  

• Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment.
