Schedule: Monday - Wednesday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
 

Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is looking for a responsible Unarmed Security Officer to handle overnight vehicle patrol responsibilities in Brush, CO. The officer will use a company vehicle to monitor assigned areas and help identify security, safety, or access concerns during scheduled shifts.

This role is suited to someone who is comfortable driving at night for extended periods, works well independently, and can consistently follow written procedures. Officers must also be able to complete routine reports documenting daily activity and notable events.
 

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled security patrols using a company vehicle.
• Drive throughout assigned areas while maintaining awareness of surrounding conditions.
• Inspect designated areas during routine patrols.
• Monitor for unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, damage, hazards, or other irregularities.
• Maintain a professional and attentive presence throughout the assignment.
• Follow post orders and all assignment-specific instructions.
• Read and understand written procedures before carrying out assigned duties.
• Report security or safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures and the scope of assigned responsibilities.
• Complete daily activity reports and routine incident documentation.
• Provide accurate written details regarding observations and events.
• Communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized personnel.
• Operate the company vehicle safely and responsibly at all times.
• Maintain awareness and alertness during extended periods of vehicle patrol.
   

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have held a valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• No major driving violations within the last 5 years.
• Comfortable driving for long periods.
• Comfortable and confident operating a vehicle during nighttime hours.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended vehicle patrol.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow post orders.
• Ability to complete routine written reports accurately.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Professional demeanor and responsible driving habits.
