Your Impact 

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing robust data pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in modern cloud data architectures to transform raw data into valuable insights, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across our data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support business requirements.
• Data Modelling: Architect and implement efficient data models to support analytical and operational needs.
• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Transformations: Execute complex ETL transformations to ensure high-quality, actionable data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• DevOps Best Practices: Implement CI/CD workflows and maintain version control using Git, ensuring high code quality and smooth deployment cycles.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• Specialization: At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with DBT and Snowflake.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven experience in designing complex ETL transformations.
  • Working
• Cloud & DevOps: Strong experience working with AWS services and CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub).
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline performance.
• Agile Project experience Proficiency in utilizing Jira to manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle. Experienced in sprint planning, technical task tracking, backlog grooming, and collaborating within cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud-Native Data Integration (Matillion): Demonstrated experience leveraging Matillion to design and manage efficient ELT workflows. Proficient in optimizing data transformations within cloud environments (AWS) to improve pipeline performance and scalability.
• Modern ELT Orchestration (Meltano): Practical experience with Meltano for building and maintaining robust, CLI-driven data integration pipelines. Skilled in utilizing open-source frameworks to streamline data movement and manage complex data stacks.
• Microservices Architecture: Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining modular microservices. Familiarity with API design, service-to-service communication, and distributed system patterns to support decoupled and scalable data platform components.
