Senior Procurement Specialist

 

 

工作职责/ Job Description:

• Develop and execute Material Group strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, flexibility, innovation and supplier performance across Machining, Sheet Metal, Casting, Chemical, Packaging, etc commodities.
• Build strong global stakeholder relationships with R&D, Procurement, Quality and other global functions, working independently across locations.
• Lead supplier audits, assessments and development to drive process, quality and compliance improvements.
• Conduct market, benchmark and cost analysis to identify sourcing and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Manage the full Supplier Life Cycle — sourcing, qualification, onboarding, evaluation, development, consolidation and phase-out.
• Lead global supplier negotiations and contract management to secure competitive commercial terms.
• Drive cost-down, technical cost optimization, localization and supplier development initiatives.
• Support NPI and new-part sourcing, including supplier qualification, sample/FA readiness and mass-production readiness.
• Identify and mitigate supply, supplier and commercial risks, ensuring timely escalation and stakeholder alignment.
• Drive procurement digitalization, automation and e-procurement excellence.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving with R&D, Quality, Production and Supply Planning to improve supplier and business performance.
• NPI / FA sample readiness and qualification completion.
• Completion of procurement projects and assigned cost-down targets.
• FA sample management (Monitor ETA, Complete Qualification ready for mass production) .

          

任职要求/Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
• Business fluent or native-level English in both written and spoken. Business fluent or native proficiency in either Chinese or German is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in category procurement, focusing on Machining, Sheet Metal, Casting, Packaging and other manufacturing commodities. MNC working experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MRP systems such as SAP and M3, capable of independent data maintenance, purchase order release, delivery rescheduling and order adjustment.
• High professional integrity and strong sense of responsibility. Confident and assertive at work with mature strategic supplier management and negotiation capabilities. Self-motivated and independent in daily work, with outstanding cross-functional collaboration and project execution skills.
• Solid strategic negotiation expertise with profound knowledge in manufacturer and distributor evaluation. Familiar with international freight terms and inventory management mechanisms. Equipped with professional cost-down methodologies and practical implementation capabilities to drive continuous cost optimization.
