Workplace Services Facilities Coordinator

Overview

We are currently looking for professional energetic individuals who have a proven background in furniture/office moves and general building support to join our amazing team as a Workplace Services Facilities Coordinator located in our Port Arthur, TX office.  This ideal candidate must be detailed oriented with a strong focus in customer service and ability to work with Facility Management team in planning various general personnel moves & relocations including handling general repairs/maintenance, etc.

Hourly Compensation: $28.00 - $28.00 USD per hrly (DOE)

 

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday  7:00 AM - 6:00 PM  (may include some evenings and weekends)

 

Location:  Port Arthur, TX 

Responsibilities

The Workplace Services Facilities Coodinator will be responsible for handling general personnel moves & relocations, including general repairs/maintenance, etc.  Additional responsibilities include:

• Work with management to plan individual to departmental furniture/desks/office moves
• Support management with physical moves to & from storage area
• Assist with staff relocation moves/maintain discretion & confidentiality with planning stage when noted
• Perform general light maintenance repairs using hand tools as needed
• Conduct general inspections of all areas
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures

Qualifications

The qualifications for the Workplace Services Facilities Coordinator must be detailed oriented with a strong focus in customer service and a proven background in furniture/office moves and hospitality support.  Additional qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED 
• Professional demeanor - a must
• Handling heavy lifting & moving of furniture
• Excellent organizational skills - detailed oriented
• Availability to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends, etc
• Ability to trouble-shoot and prioritize work
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
