The opportunity
Are you passionate about power systems and working directly with customers? Join Hitachi Energy as a Field Service Engineer and play a key role in delivering reliable energy solutions across Peru.
In this position, you will work with advanced electrical equipment and technologies, supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites. How you'll make an impact
- Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
- Support maintenance activities for transformers, switchgear, protection, and control systems.
- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams.
- Deliver technical guidance and training to customers.
- Prepare accurate service reports and documentation.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance standards.
- Support emergency interventions and on-call service activities when required.
- Manage service tools and spare parts effectively.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in field service, commissioning, installation, or maintenance of electrical power systems.
- Experience working with high-voltage equipment, transformers, switchgear, or protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Peru.
