Job Description & Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Associate to join our Tax Reporting and Strategy team. In this role, you will support clients in meeting their tax, accounting and payroll compliance obligations while helping them navigate an evolving regulatory environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to high-quality client deliverables, and use technology to improve efficiency and insight.

What you'll do
As a Senior Associate, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and support statutory tax, accounting and payroll compliance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Prepare tax returns, tax calculations, tax reports and other regulatory filings in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist clients with tax reporting requirements and compliance obligations.
Liaise with tax, social insurance and other regulatory authorities on behalf of clients.
Conduct tax research and prepare draft tax memoranda, reports and client communications.
Analyse tax legislation and regulatory developments and assess their impact on clients.
Support tax planning and tax risk management initiatives.
Review work performed by junior team members and provide guidance where appropriate.
Use digital tools and technology solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of client service delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
Produce high-quality work that meets professional, regulatory and firm standards.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics, professional standards and business conduct.
What you'll bring along
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, payroll compliance or related advisory services.
Good understanding of Mongolian tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Experience preparing statutory tax and payroll filings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mongolian.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other technology tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Client-focused mindset and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Preferred qualifications
Professional certifications or progress towards a recognised accounting or tax qualification.
Experience working with ERP systems, tax technology solutions or data analytics tools.
Experience in a professional services firm is an advantage.
