Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday | 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
 

About the Role

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide dependable security coverage in Tulsa. This position combines routine patrols, surveillance monitoring, access control, incident response, and professional interaction with people on the property.

The officer will be expected to stay attentive, follow established instructions, recognize potential concerns, and communicate important information promptly. Accurate documentation and sound judgment are essential parts of the assignment.
 

Responsibilities

Security Coverage

• Perform scheduled patrols on foot or by vehicle throughout assigned areas
• Look for signs of unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, property concerns, or unsafe conditions
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and electronic access-control systems
• Maintain awareness of activity and conditions throughout the shift
• Help safeguard designated areas, equipment, cash, and other sensitive or valuable assets
   

Entry & Access Procedures

• Verify identification in accordance with established access procedures
• Issue visitor badges when authorized
• Record required entries and exits accurately
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts
• Follow applicable post orders and access-control instructions
   

Incident Management

• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, and other security concerns
• Gather relevant information and communicate incidents to the appropriate supervisor
• Take action within the limits of company policy, assigned authority, and applicable law
• Follow lawful use-of-force requirements when force is necessary and authorized
• Contact or coordinate with law enforcement when serious incidents require their involvement
   

Reports & Communication

• Prepare detailed reports covering daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions
• Document observations clearly and accurately
• Communicate security concerns and important updates in a timely manner
• Maintain appropriate records using company-approved reporting procedures
• Protect confidential information encountered during assigned duties
   

Professional Service

• Assist visitors, employees, and other authorized individuals with routine questions or directions
• Maintain a courteous and professional approach during interactions
• Enforce applicable property rules, organizational policies, and post orders
• Address violations appropriately while maintaining professional conduct
• Represent Citadel Security USA with reliability and professionalism
   

Required Qualifications

• Active Guard Card required
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to remain calm and focused during stressful situations
• Ability to follow security procedures, emergency protocols, and post orders
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate security reports
• Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, patrol, access control, or a related position
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarm monitoring, and electronic access-control systems
• Working knowledge of routine security operations and emergency procedures
• Experience using mobile or application-based operational platforms such as TrackTik, Belfry, or similar systems
• Previous report-writing or incident documentation experience
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining communication with supervisors
