Senior Supervisor Farm│Three Springs Farms (Rose, OK)

Job Details:

 The expectation of this position is to lead and direct a team to achieve the  Pedigree farm objectives. The essential functions of this position include:

• Achieving production objectives.

• Ensuring compliance with regulations and operational objectives.

• Hiring, developing, and maintaining qualified and effective team members.

• Developing and maintaining positive employee relations.

• Compiling and analyzing flock production system data.

• Operating within approved operational and capital budget guidelines.

• Ensuring infrastructure is effectively maintained.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• College degree or equivalent experience required. A college degree in poultry science is preferred

• Limited experience required.

Accountability

• Entry-level professional position responsible for supervising an individual or small group of non-exempt team members (e.g., clerical, administrative, and production employees).

• Responsibilities include providing training, monitoring work quality, and coaching team members on performance.

• Responsible for the quality of results produced by the team.

• Must be able to work independently and evaluate alternatives in situations not covered by written procedures.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in data collection and management using Microsoft Office applications is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Will supervise a team of hourly employees, including lead positions.

Travel

• Minimal domestic travel required.

Biosecurity

• The job site is a biosecurity-controlled environment that requires showering before entering the facility and may require multiple showers throughout the workday.

• Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company.

• No jewelry may be worn on the job site except for medical identification jewelry.

• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species, including chickens, ducks, and other birds.

• The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Must use safe lifting techniques.

• While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to:

  • Stand, walk, and sit.

  • Use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Reach with hands and arms.

  • Balance and stoop.

  • Talk and hear.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• When visiting facilities, team members are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
