Job Description:
This position will serve all students of the College of Music and Dramatic Arts through electronic data management, student employment processes, and onboarding and orientation support. This position will work to identify areas where information flow and electronic support can increase efficiencies thereby providing the highest level of service to students, faculty and other support staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Graduate Studies in the CMDA with all record keeping from the recruiting phase through commencement. Provide consistent and accurate communication of pertinent information for Graduate Students and Graduate Assistants. Provide additional support as needed for the acclimation of international graduate students. Create and maintain electronic record keeping system for graduate student information in compliance and coordination with Graduate School and Information Technology policies and processes. Serve as CMDA Student Employment Partner to hire and onboard all Graduate Assistants in coordination with the Executive Associate Dean. (50%)
- Create and maintain database management systems for CMDA recruitment and retention efforts to create a holistic database of CMDA student records, tracking graduate students, student workers, and recital gradings from application through auditions, enrollment, and graduation. Building pathways for integration of information from various University systems into one College database for improved efficiencies and increased service to student population as well as providing information for analysis of trends in recruitment and retention programs. (30%)
- Graduate Slate & Systems Management: Manage the CMDA Graduate Slate portal by building application cycles, updating queries, and managing review bins; serve as the primary mediator with the Graduate School Admissions Office for application issues, deferrals, and missing documents while providing system training and technical support to faculty and students. (15%)
- Other duties as assigned (5%)

- This individual must be physically able to sit/stand for long periods of time while working on a computer.
