Overview
The Regional Manager of Pump & Pantry is responsible for supervising, staffing, training, and overseeing the successful execution of operational and financial components of the their Pump & Pantry Region. This position supervises multiple District Managers and works directly with Support Center departments to refine processes and improve how our stores execute. This position is primarily responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining a talented team of District Managers and General Managers with a bench of leaders ready to advance to the next position in addition to having full P&L accountability.

Responsibilities
- Spends ~60% of time in stores with District Managers and ~40% of time working with our Support Center teams on process improvement and standardization.
- Works with Director of Operations to establish hours of operation and staffing requirements to achieve financial and operational execution targets.
- Hires, leads, manages, trains, and develops a team of District Managers
- Develops a deep bench of General Manager and District Manager talent.
- Performs monthly P&L reviews and develops corrective action steps when needed.
- Follows up on field performance and ensure processes, procedures, and business operations are being done satisfactorily.
- Oversees all training programs that are pertinent to Operations by partnering with the appropriate Support Center teams.
- Travels with District Managers ensuring we are meeting expectations for Fast, Fresh, Instock and Clean and developing corrective action steps when needed.
- Oversees the implementation of brand guidelines across all operational processes, communications, and customer interactions; ensures alignment with company values, messaging, and visual identity to maintain a consistent brand experience.
- Creates, updates, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and works with Support Center teams to standardize processes to create consistency, efficiency, and compliance across operations. Creates consistent, repeatable, and scalable processes that make it easier for store Team Members to execute well.
- Develops, implements, and executes sales strategies to grow business.
- Assists in evaluating, developing budgets and operating within budgetary guidelines.
- Works with recruiting team to ensure steady flow of applications.
- Supports ownership, executive team and divisional director in all aspects of business and operations.
- Reports on divisional metrics/KPI tracking and provides analysis of reports for management
- Supports the development of communication materials, presentations, meeting content, and data analysis as needed for divisional director and executive team
- Provides friendly and competent customer service and is responsive to Customer requests for help.
- Provides ownership and support for select systems and processes that support stores.
- Ensures consistency in food quality, presentation, and service by enforcing company guidelines and brand standards across all locations.
- Ensures strict adherence to local, state, and federal food safety regulations, health codes, and workplace safety guidelines.

- Directly supervises Multi-Unit leaders.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of Multi-unit leadership with P&L accountability
- Demonstrated progressive leadership experience spanning over 10+ years
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in operational planning, budgeting, and financial performance analysis including implementing budget controls.
- Experience with inventory management and vendor relations.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in data reporting tools to read and understand a monthly P&L
- Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers during all business hours a needed.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
