This position is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of Teamcenter developers and test automation specialists supporting the enterprise Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. This role drives the design, development, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of Teamcenter solutions while establishing and scaling automated quality assurance practices across the application lifecycle.

The position combines people leadership, technical strategy, delivery management, and operational excellence to ensure the Teamcenter platform remains reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This role partners with business stakeholders, solution architects, and external vendors to deliver innovative capabilities that accelerate digital engineering and product lifecycle processes.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be S150,400 - $225,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Leadership & People Management Responsibility

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Teamcenter developers and test automation engineers.
• Build a high-performing engineering organization focused on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Establish team objectives, performance expectations, development plans, and succession strategies.
• Manage resource planning, workload balancing, hiring, onboarding, and vendor engagement activities.
• Foster an agile and quality-focused engineering culture.
• Coordinate development and testing activities across internal teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with business priorities.
• Manage risks, dependencies, technical debt, and production support activities.
• Monitor and communicate project status, KPIs, and operational performance.

Application Responsibility

• Oversee the design, development, configuration, and enhancement of Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, architecture principles, coding guidelines, and security requirements.
• Drive integration of Teamcenter with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Review solution designs and provide technical governance across development initiatives.
• Establish and execute a comprehensive quality and automation strategy.
• Lead development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, test suites, and regression packs.
• Promote shift-left testing practices and continuous quality validation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define automation standards, quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and release readiness criteria.
• Drive reduction of manual testing effort through increased automation coverage and reliability.

Platform Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Define and monitor engineering KPIs related to quality, productivity, deployment reliability, automation effectiveness, and platform stability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging DevOps, automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, change management, validation, and audit requirements.
• Support platform roadmap planning and technology modernization efforts.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to PLM and quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, PLM systems, or enterprise application engineering.
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
• Knowledgeable of Product Lifecycle Management and its different processes to aid in the support of the PLM system.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational, interview and research skills in order to define procedural and process flow.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; self-starter; detail oriented; excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines; desire to learn.
• Effective leadership and coaching skills with ability to guide, motivate and inspire others
