Junior / Mid Software Tester with German

Job Description:

DXC Technology Polska is looking for a Junior or Mid Software Tester to join our German-speaking team, based in Wrocław.

• Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the Wrocław office
• German: B2 minimum (C1 preferred)
• English: B2 minimum

In this role, you will support international projects by ensuring software quality through test planning, execution, documentation, and close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and verify their testability
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify risks and unexpected behavior
• Document test results, defects, and quality risks
• Retest fixes and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and customers to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Contribute to test process improvements in agile and hybrid project environments

Requirements:

Junior level:

• Basic knowledge of software testing through studies, training, internships, or personal projects

Mid level:

• Hands-on testing experience and ability to independently plan and execute tests

For both levels:

• Understanding of testing methodologies and software development processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document defects and test results clearly
• German (B2+) and English (B2+) communication skills

Nice to have:

• ISTQB CTFL certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Experience with Jira/Xray or similar testing tools
• Basic API testing knowledge (REST APIs)
• Basic SQL skills
• Experience or interest in test automation (Playwright, Selenium)
• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
