Description
Provide Systems Engineering support for the Missile Defense Agency Aegis-Based Weapon Systems Glide Phase Interceptor Program. Develop program plans, plan of action and milestone (POA&M) recommendations, and prepare executive level briefing packages and formal documentation. Prepare alternative courses of action analysis and executive level results presentation. Prepare technical and position papers, engineering briefs, schedules and risk management documents. Coordinate and manage program activities across OGAs. Apply disciplined systems engineering practices, identify and resolve complex problems associated with technical performance requirements, systems engineering, and performance trades. Assist in the application of innovative digital engineering and agile acquisition processes in the execution of assigned tasks. US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) 7+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic program office. Strong oral and written communication skills, Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program Office and MDA Leadership Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems Active TS/SCI Clearance Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems Prior Program Office experience Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, Systems Engineering, Weapon Systems development and operations, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
