Description
The Electrical Superintendent will lead the field operations on large-scale data center projects. This role will oversee electrical installation, field supervision, safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity while working closely with the project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise electrical installation activities from start through completion.
- Manage field personnel, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and daily operations.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Coordinate labor planning, schedules, material needs, and project priorities.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, and compliance with project standards.
- Mentor and develop foremen, supervisors, and electrical tradesmen.
- Support change orders through takeoffs, pricing, and field assessments.
- Identify and resolve construction issues to maintain project progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Journeyman Electrical License, 4-year engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of electrical construction and field supervision experience.
- Data center, industrial, pharmaceutical, or other highly technical construction experience.
- Hyperscale data center experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing electrical projects valued at approximately $20M–$100M preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
- Strong understanding of labor scheduling, cost control, productivity, and field operations.
- Ability to perform electrical takeoffs and change-order pricing.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and planning skills.
- Ability to successfully complete required background and motor vehicle checks.
