What you will be expected to do as a Business Unit Coordinator
- Work together with the Safety Representatives and HSE Coordinator to ensure that the department complies with the requirements of Health & Safety policies
- Assist the Material Controller with the control and monitoring of finished goods moving into and out of the department
- Assist with accurate weekly stock takes of finished goods and consumables
- Manage reconciliations and capture data associated with raw material control
- Update efficiency schedules on a daily basis
- Update weekly wages and other production schedules
- Perform general administrative duties as required by the Production Team Leader and Executive
- Update the register of NCQR and CFARs to monitor trends and statistics
- Follow up on DRM actions
- Submit and follow up on trials and associated ISIR requests
- Assist with staff and general queries
What skills you will need in this position:
- Minimum of a Degree. BCom Supply Chain or BBA preferable
- Maths or Accountancy passed in Grade 12 is essential
- At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a similar environment
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics will be advantageous
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel. SAP experience advantageous
- A robust, highly energetic, and hands-on approach and personality are essential in this role
