Job description
Oracle ERP Cloud Pre-Sales & Delivery Architect
The team
At Hitachi Digital Services, our Oracle team represents the organization by building trusted relationships with clients and shaping solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. We are a collaborative, client-focused group that brings together sales, solution architecture, delivery and functional expertise across industries including retail, financial services, manufacturing and the public sector. Our team supports one another, shares ideas and works across practices to position Oracle solutions that solve complex business challenges. Success is shared, and we value people who can build deep relationships, uncover client needs and clearly articulate the value Hitachi brings.
The role
As an Oracle ERP Cloud Pre-Sales & Delivery Architect, you will lead solutioning, pre-sales and delivery activities for complex Oracle ERP Cloud opportunities and programs. You’ll assess stated and unstated customer needs, define end-to-end solution strategies and lead discovery, architecture and design workshops. You will shape multi-pillar Oracle ERP Cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, with deep emphasis on Financials and Record to Report, while staying current on Oracle AI capabilities. You’ll lead large RFP/RFX responses, proactive pursuits and outcome-based solution selling, articulate business value to executive stakeholders, and collaborate across practices to improve win rates and delivery outcomes. You will also contribute to capability collateral, thought leadership and reusable assets. Oracle EPM knowledge is preferred and will strengthen your ability to shape broader enterprise performance solutions.
What you’ll bring
15+ years of strong Oracle ERP delivery experience across Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) and Oracle Cloud Applications.
Proven experience architecting and delivering multi-pillar Oracle ERP Cloud solutions, with strong knowledge of Oracle SaaS, PaaS and IaaS capabilities.
Deep functional knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management (CE), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and the Record to Report (R2R) workstream.
Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) knowledge and experience is preferred and will be given additional consideration.
Strong understanding of the latest Oracle ERP and AI offerings, including familiarity with AI within ERP and broader AI practices that improve solutioning and delivery efficiency.
Exemplary client-facing experience, including independently leading executive discovery sessions, architecture discussions and design workshops while translating stated and unstated needs into end-to-end solution strategies.
Demonstrated experience leading large RFP/RFX responses, proactive pursuits, solution selling, bid management and outcome-based selling to key stakeholders.
Working knowledge of U.S. Oracle ERP localizations and related statutory and taxation requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams, articulate business value, develop capability collateral and contribute to thought leadership; relevant Oracle Cloud certifications are desirable.
This position requires candidates to be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
