Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry Administrator to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client PO’s to ensure compliance.
Salary: $24- $31.25/hr DOE
Responsibilities
• Received and process all incoming shipments
• Reviewed customer purchase orders (POs) for accuracy and compliance with company and project requirements
• Convert customer POs into active projects within the company system
• Coordinate project release and communicate project requirements to department managers
• Process revised purchase orders (POs) for work in progress, updating system records and notifying appropriate department managers of changes
• Collaborated with internal staff to resolve project-related issues and ensure timely completion
• Managed order book administration, including routine customer follow-up and status updates
• Served as the primary customer liaison for account creation, maintenance, and general account inquiries
• Coordinated outgoing shipments of customer samples, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Greeting visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while maintaining a professional front office environment
• Process customer payments
• Performed a variety of administrative tasks to support daily business operations and management needs• Organized and maintained filing systems for completed projects
Skills / Qualifications
• To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/orability required•Candidates must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have a minimum of three (3) years of office administration and customer service experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / D365• Excellent communication skills• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication• Adaptable and flexible in approach• Ability to lift and move up to 35lbs
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
