## About this Role

We are seeking a controls and compliance professional to support operational governance, risk management, and control effectiveness across service delivery functions. This role focuses on designing and strengthening operational controls, driving Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, and providing data-driven insights to support service performance. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across service lines to maintain a strong control environment and help reduce operational risk through consistent monitoring, assurance, and continuous improvement.

## What you’ll do

• Design and enhance operational and process controls to mitigate business and operational risks.
• Implement controls and provide guidance and training to control owners, delegates, and performers.
• Coordinate and manage periodic Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across service lines.
• Facilitate timely completion of control self-assessments and monitor adherence to governance requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of control assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Prepare control effectiveness reporting and present findings to senior leadership stakeholders.
• Support stakeholders with control design, remediation planning, and compliance improvements.
• Promote a strong culture of risk awareness, accountability, and controls across the organisation.
• Review and update controls annually to reflect evolving business requirements and operating environments.

## Who you are

• Experienced in controls governance, risk management, compliance, audit, or related assurance functions.
• Able to assess risks within complex business environments and recommend practical control solutions.
• Skilled at managing changing priorities and addressing unforeseen challenges effectively.
• Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders through clear communication and sound judgement.
• Collaborative and effective in working across diverse teams and functions.
• Chartered Accountant or another recognised professional qualification with exposure to risk, controls, or auditing.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in risk management, controls compliance, or audit.
