Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring our guests have the correct access product to safely and legally enjoy our mountains while delivering exceptional guest service. Actively works toward positive resolution for all issues. Provide information and direction in an efficient and courteous manner. This job provides the opportunity to work outdoors in a scenic environment, while greeting our guests.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $15.00- $25.92 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Greet guests and welcome them to our resort.

  • Provide guests with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.

  • Protect the company and our guests against potential fraudulent pass and ticket issues.

  • Work with multiple departments to create a welcoming and safe environment for our guests.

  • Provide accurate information and direction to all our guests.

  • Monitor Access Gates by using technology such as tablets and radios.

  • Monitor Premium Product Line using technology such as scan gun and radio.

  • Perform Lift Line Management as needed to group guests to ensure lift capacity.

  • Research, troubleshoot, and assist guests with potential lift access issues and resolve any problems which could prevent our guests from having an outstanding day.

Competencies and Job Requirements:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong sense of guest service & safety awareness.

  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards.

  • Attendance, able to report at scheduled days and start time.

  • Work well as part of a team.

  • Able to work well in a high volume, fast paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and courtesy.

  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative on finding the answers to questions where one does not know the answer.

  • Basic computer skills, fast, and accurate typing skills.

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 35lbs. Must capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.

Equipment Used in Job: PC, RTP software, tablets, radios, shovel, power drill, general office equipment

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • Six months experience in customer service

A Motor Vehicle Record review may be required as part of your job.
