About you and this role

The Maintenance Technician is you will provide maintenance craft-specific support to plants, maintaining and repairing various types of equipment within your area of expertise. This role requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may also act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct equipment problems; calibrate and align equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities; check sizing of components and parts.
• Specify, requisition, and install parts and equipment; coordinate maintenance spare parts.
• Set up, calibrate, test, measure, and repair controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables.
• Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery; troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, documenting failure analysis.
• Collect equipment operation data to improve reliability; work within established Maintenance Work Processes and help resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Higher education in electrical/automation or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience plus maintenance, manufacturing, or other related experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, equivalent years of experience required.

• Relevant experience in process operations, manufacturing, or a related field.

This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of plant equipment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the maintenance team's success and overall plant efficiency.

• Candidates are expected to demonstrate a continuous learning mindset and adaptability to evolving plant technologies.

•  Prior experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or process industries will be considered an advantage.

• Proficiency in both Swedish and English (spoken, written, and reading) is mandatory for this role.
