Role Summary:
The Food & Beverage Category Coordinator supports the Category Management team in executing assortment strategies, maintaining category reporting, coordinating vendor communications, and ensuring successful implementation of category initiatives.Responsibilities:
- Support assortment management activities for assigned product categories.
- Coordinate item setup, maintenance, and SKU lifecycle management across systems.
- Maintain category calendars and track launches, tests, resets, and promotions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate vendor meetings and follow-up actions.
- Support product launches, pricing analysis, planogram execution, and ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1-3 years of relevant experience with analytics, planning, theater management/operations, or category management experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI experience preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math and inventory metrics.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Relex or similar planogram software experience preferred but not required.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Analytical and comfortable working with large datasets.
- Proactive and collaborative.
- Customer-focused.
- Possesses a willingness to learn.
