Associate Software Engineer – Salesforce Location:
Bangalore - India
General Purpose
We are looking to hire an Associate Software Engineer - Salesforce with excellent technical and communication skills to effectively collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop functionality and enhancements. Duties will include coding, development, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications and related technologies as listed below.
The Associate Salesforce Developer will also field and resolve usage issues and perform other duties as assigned that are in line with the role of responsibilities and required for the business. This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims to support and enable the various divisions of the MillerKnoll business across the globe. The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that deliver end-user needs.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations.
• Develop applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Experience, JavaScript, Apex, and other Salesforce development technologies.
• Ensure the availability and stability of the Salesforce platform and provide on-call support to resolve application issues.
• Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Create testing and implementation plans, including user training, UAT, and documentation.
• Remain current with Salesforce technologies, platform capabilities, development standards, and best practices.
Requirements
• A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform and its associated technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Experience with Salesforce development and customizations, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Experience, Salesforce Flow, Visualforce and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including User Setup, security and sharing, profiles and permission sets, Flow, approval processes, App Manager, Case Management, Entitlements, Assignment Rules, Experience Cloud, queues, reports, dashboards, and related Salesforce capabilities.
• Experience with JavaScript, XML, JSON, FTP, SOAP, REST.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
• Experience with legacy Salesforce technologies is a plus
• Experience with APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Git and relational databases preferred.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite is a plus.
Associate Software Engineer – Salesforce
Location: Bangalore - India
• Experience with Commerce Cloud, Zeta Platform (ESP), and Dell Boomi/AWS is a plus.
• Experience working on an Agile development team, preferably using SCRUM.
• Experience with software development outside of the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills to deal with a varied workload and be responsive to the needs of the business.
• Strong problem-solving and systems analysis skills.
• Understand the necessity of and contribute to efficient coding standards.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery.
• Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the HMI office environment
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without supervision
This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled. Location of work is Bangalore, India. Initial 6 months, until successful completion of probation period, employees will work from office on all 5 days and then transition to hybrid working model.
