About the Job
PMG Vegetation Control is hiring an experienced Industrial Spray Truck Driver for a six-week fall project in Utah and Wyoming. This position combines driving, equipment operation, and outdoor field work while supporting vegetation-management projects in the oil and gas industry.
This is a great fit for an experienced driver or equipment operator who is comfortable working independently, traveling during the workweek, and operating vehicles and equipment in rugged field environments.
What You'll Do

Operate industrial trucks equipped with herbicide spray systems.

Drive on gravel, dirt, oil-field, and off-road terrain.

Use hoses, booms, pumps, and other spray equipment to treat designated vegetation.

Identify and target specified weed species.

Complete assigned treatment areas safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections.

Communicate with team leads regarding daily assignments, progress, and field conditions.

Travel to project locations throughout Utah and Wyoming.
What We're Looking For
-
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Experience operating large vehicles, trucks, agricultural equipment, or heavy equipment.

Experience driving on gravel, dirt, off-road, or similar terrain.

Ability to travel and remain away from home during the workweek.

Ability to safely handle hoses and operate equipment for extended periods.

Strong communication skills and dependable work habits.

Ability to work independently and meet daily production expectations.

Ability to obtain required pesticide applicator licensing or certification.
Preferred:
-
5+ years of professional driving or equipment-operation experience.
-
CDL Class A or Class B.
-
Experience in agriculture, farming, oil and gas, construction, or vegetation management.

Experience operating spray equipment or truck-mounted equipment.
Schedule & Travel
- Duration: Approximately six weeks, with potential long-term employment opportunities
- Start Date: Approximately September 13, 2026
- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, full-time
- Travel: Regular travel throughout Utah and Wyoming, including overnight stays during the workweek
- Overtime: May be available based on project needs
