Job Description

As a Security Officer Bilingual English / Spanish Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery-related location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, customers, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
