Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to residents
- Assess residents' conditions and monitor for changes in health status
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans as appropriate
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses
- Communicate changes in condition promptly to physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Supervise and provide direction to LVNs, CNAs, and other care team members
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Assist with wound care, treatments, and other clinical procedures as needed
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident care
