Warehouse Operatives

ACS Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our prestigious client in Magna Park, Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing warehouse work within a busy, fast-paced distribution environment. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working across different departments and can demonstrate a strong commitment to attendance and flexibility.

Shift Pattern & Pay

Any 5 days out of 7 – Weekend work will be required

• 06:00–18:00: £13.05 per hour
• 18:00–22:00: £15.80 per hour
• 22:00–06:00: £16.80 per hour

Peak Period Commitment:
Candidates applying must be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week, including at least 1 weekend day during the peak period.

Candidates will be responsible for booking their own shifts through the online portal. Therefore, it is essential that applicants understand and are able to commit to these availability requirements before being put forward.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you may be required to work across a variety of departments. You may initially be assigned to one area but will be cross-trained to support other departments as required, so flexibility is essential.

Duties may include:

• Moving stock from cages to packing stations
• Printing delivery labels and delivery notes
• Packing stock accurately and professionally
• Ensuring delivery notes are included inside parcels and labels are correctly attached
• Placing parcels onto conveyor belts
• Reading and following packing instructions from a PC
• Using handheld scanners and RF guns
• Operating a bubble-wrap machine
• Maintaining a clean and organised packing station
• Moving parcels from conveyors to the designated courier area
• Wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
• Operating LLOP or ROPT equipment to pick stock from racking
• Loading cages onto LLOP or ROPT equipment
• Cutting boxes during picking to maintain a clean and efficient working environment
• Sorting parcels in line with site requirements
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Heavy lifting will be involved in certain areas

• Are flexible and willing to work across different departments
• Are able to follow instructions accurately
• Have good attention to detail
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Can undertake manual handling and heavy lifting
• Are willing to learn and be cross-trained on different warehouse operations
• Have previous warehouse experience or relevant experience operating LLOP/ROPT equipment, where applicable
• The ability to read and understand English is desirable, particularly for roles involving RF equipment and picking instructions.
