Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Site.

Reporting to the  Sr. Director, Supply Chain Management, the Strategic Supply Chain Manager role will be responsible directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management.  In charge of managing and overseeing the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products. Customer face and strategic.

Responsibilities: 

• Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations. 

• Checks materials related to data research. 
• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and goals. 
• Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversees planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area. 
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors. 
• Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial drive. 

• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration. 

 

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally across multiple geographic regions and business levels
• Solid experience in supply chain management and operations within a manufacturing environment, including inventory control, demand and materials planning, purchasing, materials management, and SMI coordination to support supplier management, material flow, customer requirements, manufacturing support, logistics, and operational execution.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional work teams and interacting effectively with internal stakeholders, executives, customers, and suppliers.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in achieving favorable cost and service provisions.
• Candidate must be competent in Microsoft Office applications.
