This role leads the Performance & Insights capability for Technology, creating a clear, trusted and Tech-wide view of how well Technology is delivering its strategy, value and outcomes. It brings together strategic, operational, organisational and value-based measures through the Technology Performance Framework and OKRs, to create a clear line of sight between strategic objectives, operational performance and measurable progress. By partnering across Technology, the role supports senior leaders with sharper insight for decision making, helps identify performance trends and trade-offs, and drives continuous improvement in how Technology measures, understands and improves performance.

 

What's the job?

• Lead the development and ongoing evolution of the Technology Performance Framework and OKR approach, embedding consistent standards for measuring performance, value and organisational health.
• Own and continuously improve the Technology performance cadence, measures and governance, providing senior leaders with a clear view of progress against strategic objectives.
• Define and embed strategic, operational and organisational measures, ensuring clear ownership, consistent definitions, strong data quality and effective use of reporting, automation and AI.
• Translate complex data into executive-ready insight, narratives and recommendations that support strategic decision-making, prioritisation, accountability and action.
• Build trusted partnerships across Technology, Finance, Portfolio and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to the Technology Leadership Team through evidence-led insight and
• Drive the maturity of Technology performance management, turning insight into continuous improvement while leading and developing the Performance & Insights team and building capability through coaching, frameworks and governance standards.

What you'll bring

• Strong experience leading performance, strategy, planning or transformation activities within a complex Technology organisation. 

• Proven expertise in performance frameworks, including OKRs, KPIs and organisational health measures, and in supporting senior performance reviews and decision-making forums. 
• Experience with performance reporting, analytics, automation and visualisation tools, alongside a strong understanding of data quality and governance. 

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn data into insight, action and measurable improvement. 

• Ability to influence, challenge and align senior stakeholders across a matrix organisation, including in ambiguous or fast-paced environments. 

• Impactful communication and storytelling skills, translating performance insights into clear executive recommendations.
