Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Studios in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage access credentials, monitor entry points and alarm systems, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, production personnel, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access to the media and technology location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry, issuing passes as authorized, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
