As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Leominster, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while upholding site procedures. - Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
