Description
Family & ERSEA Manager
Tri-County Head Start is seeking a Family & ERSEA Manager to lead our Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) systems and support meaningful family engagement across our program.
This position is ideal for someone highly organized and able to strategize, comfortable working with data and compliance requirements, and passionate about helping children and families access high-quality early childhood services.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee ERSEA systems, including eligibility verification, recruitment, selection, enrollment, placement, attendance, and reporting.
- Review enrollment applications and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
- Develop recruitment strategies to reach eligible families and help TCHS maintain funded enrollment across our service area.
- Monitor enrollment, attendance, and family data and ensure accurate documentation in ChildPlus.
- Develop and support family engagement practices aligned with the Head Start Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework.
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff responsible for ERSEA and family engagement activities.
- Coordinate family transitions, community referrals, family assessments, and partnerships with community organizations.
- Collaborate with Education, Health, Mental Health, Center Directors, and other program leaders to support children and families and ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in social or family services, public health, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
- Two to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret requirements, review detailed documentation, and maintain accurate records and data.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong computer and database skills.
- Experience with Head Start, ERSEA, family services, ChildPlus, or early childhood programs is highly desirable.

About the Position
This position works in both office and early childhood program environments and requires travel to TCHS centers and sites throughout our service area.
Pay Range: $30.15-$31.91 per hour, depending on education and experience
