About the Opportunity
MaxIT Consulting is seeking a bilingual SAP WM professional to provide functional support and user training for warehouse and plant operations at a client location in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
The role centers on daily warehouse support, incident resolution, user guidance, and operational continuity.
SAP WM functional consultants and experienced warehouse key users, super users, or business users may qualify when they possess strong hands-on SAP knowledge and can independently troubleshoot and train users in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP Warehouse Management processes.
- Assist users with inbound and outbound processing, putaway, picking, packing, stock transfers, transfer orders, physical inventory, and warehouse movements.
- Support warehouse structures, storage types, storage sections, bins, movement strategies, and related operational data.
- Investigate incidents affecting warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, RF transactions, material movements, and document flow.
- Determine whether issues relate to configuration, master data, interfaces, transactional execution, devices, or user procedures.
- Support warehouse employees, supervisors, inventory teams, receiving, shipping, production, and business stakeholders.
- Deliver practical support and user training in Spanish and English.
- Maintain warehouse SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- Coordinate with SAP MM, IM, and PP resources when issues cross functional boundaries.
- Monitor or help troubleshoot IDoc, EDI, RF, and interface issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Support testing, go-live stabilization, hypercare, production incidents, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in rotational-shift coverage according to the schedule explained during the interview process.
Required Qualifications
- Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to support and train Spanish-speaking warehouse or plant users.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP WM and warehouse-execution processes.
- Experience with inventory movements, putaway, picking, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse transactions.
- Ability to troubleshoot functional incidents in an active warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working directly with warehouse employees, supervisors, inventory teams, or plant stakeholders.
- Availability to work on-site in Chelmsford five days per week.
- Availability for 40 hours per week and rotational shifts.
- Legal ability to work in the United States under a structure compatible with a C2C engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Approximately five or more years of SAP or warehouse-operations experience.
- Experience with RF devices, mobile warehouse processes, or warehouse interfaces.
- Exposure to SAP EWM in addition to core SAP WM knowledge.
- Exposure to SAP MM, IM, or PP integration.
- Working knowledge of IDocs, EDI, interfaces, and failed transaction monitoring.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP certification or formal functional training.
- Experience in production support, AMS, hypercare, or high-volume warehouse environments.
Important Information
SAP PP is not mandatory for this position. The primary requirement is strong SAP WM functional and operational capability.
SAP EWM experience is valuable, but candidates should demonstrate warehouse-process knowledge applicable to the client environment.
Experienced SAP warehouse business users may qualify when they have substantial troubleshooting, process-support, documentation, and user-training experience.
Candidates outside Massachusetts may be considered if they can relocate before the agreed start date. The exact rotational-shift schedule will be explained during the interview process.
Employer or client sponsorship is not available for this engagement.
