As a Security Officer Badge Database Coordinator in Polk City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain accurate access records. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a utilities location, verify authorized personnel, vehicles, contractors, and visitors, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control the issuance and return of access credentials, keys, and visitor passes in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
