Description
We’re hiring a Warehouse Coordinator to manage day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and tool operations for a growing mechanical construction operation in Fargo. This is a highly independent role for someone who knows how to keep a warehouse organized, inventory accurate, and tools and materials moving where they need to go.
This position will often work independently at the Fargo warehouse while staying closely connected with local project teams and additional operations support. We’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of the warehouse, anticipating needs, solving problems, and keeping things running without requiring constant direction.
What You'll be Doing:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, organization, and inventory
- Coordinate tool and consumable orders to ensure field teams receive what they need accurately and on time
- Receive incoming shipments, verify materials, and ensure items are properly stored
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and proactively identify restocking needs
- Tag, barcode, and track tools and equipment using inventory management software
- Coordinate tool issuance, returns, repairs, rentals, and replacements
- Order tools, consumables, and other warehouse supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate records within tool and inventory tracking systems
- Plan ahead for upcoming material and equipment needs to keep orders moving efficiently
- Work closely with field teams, vendors, suppliers, and other warehouse and logistics personnel
- Coordinate and complete local deliveries of tools and materials as needed
- Load, secure, transport, and unload tools and materials safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and overall efficiency
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics experience
- 2+ years of relevant warehouse, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred
- Comfortable independently managing day-to-day warehouse priorities with limited onsite supervision
- Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization
- Experience with inventory management, tool-tracking, or warehouse software preferred
- Mechanical construction or construction warehouse experience is a plus
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for direction
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adjust quickly when priorities change
- Comfortable working with vendors, suppliers, field personnel, and remote support teams
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate company vehicles
What Our Client Offers:
- $29–$31/hour
- Full-time, long-term opportunity
- High level of independence and ownership over day-to-day warehouse operations
- Opportunity to support major construction projects and field operations
- Collaborative support from local project teams and an established warehouse and logistics team
- Training and professional development opportunities
- Established company with long-term career growth potential
