DayTimeWed10:30 PM - 07:00 AMThur10:30 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
