We are seeking a CRM and Marketing Technology minded professional to own and evolve our HubSpot platform. As our Technical Platform Specialist (CRM), you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for HubSpot responsible for architecting the integrations and automations that power how our teams acquire, engage, and retain clients.
We need someone who can think in segmentation, configuration, workflows, testing, APIs, do development work and collaborate effectively with internal development and data teams to ensure HubSpot is deeply connected to our broader technology ecosystem. You will be a key driver of customer 360 and building data pipeline between marketing technology systems.
What You'll Do
Platform Development & Configuration
- Architect and maintain custom objects, properties, fields, and workflows across HubSpot and TMT to ensure a unified, well-structured data model
- Build and manage APIs and middleware to connect TMT (Travel Management Technologies/property management system) and HubSpot, ensuring seamless, reliable data flow between platforms
- Perform regular system audits, data backups, and integrity checks, troubleshooting sync failures and backend errors to maintain platform reliability
- Identify data gaps, manual processes, and bottlenecks, recommending system or workflow improvements
Data Architecture & System Mapping
- Map and document how objects (Contacts, Trips, Revenue, etc.) and properties flow between systems — TMT to HubSpot, TMT to BI, and Website to HubSpot — so data relationships are clear and traceable across the tech stack
- Recommend new custom objects and properties as business needs evolve, ensuring the data model stays scalable and consistent
- Align CRM lifecycle stages and pipeline structures across systems so lead and client data moves cleanly from one stage to the next
- Define clear governance standards — who owns which data, fields, and processes — to prevent duplication, drift, or conflicting sources of truth
Integrations & Technical Development
- Design and implement integrations between HubSpot and third-party platforms including Amplitude, BI tool, booking engines, ERP systems, GDS providers (e.g. Sabre, Amadeus), and internal databases
- Work closely with the development team to leverage HubSpot's API (REST/webhooks) for custom integrations and data sync workflows
- Partner with TMT and Data teams to develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensure data integrity through accurate field mapping, and enable scalable reporting solutions
- Assess, implement, and oversee third-party HubSpot integrations and marketplace applications to support evolving business and operational needs
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering integrations, data architecture, workflows, and custom HubSpot configurations
Automation & Workflow Engineering
- Build and optimize HubSpot workflows and automation sequences across marketing, sales, and lines of business
- Develop complex, multi-branch automation logic to support lead nurturing, client lifecycle management, loyalty program and internal notification workflows
- Optimize automation effectiveness by proactively monitoring performance, resolving operational issues, and implementing data-driven improvements based on team input
What You Bring
Required
- 5+ years of HubSpot administration experience across Marketing, Sales, and/or Service Hubs, with HubSpot CRM Developer certification and/or certification in Marketing, Sales, Service, or CMS Hubs
- Deep platform expertise, including workflow automation with complex branching and multi-object logic, and strong command of CRM data architecture (object relationships, custom properties, associations, and governance)
- Experience designing and supporting HubSpot integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, middleware platforms, and data mapping best practices
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Strong project management skills, the ability to understand the technical ask, work backwards to develop a project plan with clear milestones and deliverables
- Backend development experience with C# / .NET and SQL/T-SQL, including custom table design, querying, and large, stored-procedure-heavy schemas
- Experience with data pipelines and integration work — ETL, migration, deduplication, and backup/disaster recovery best practices
- Familiarity with cloud data and infrastructure tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
- Working knowledge of API and messaging architecture — RESTful design, ORMs, microservices patterns, and message-based systems (e.g., NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus)
