The bi-lingual Sales Executive - Commercial Auto is responsible for driving profitable growth within an assigned territory - Florida. They are responsible for influencing agents to sell Kemper Commercial Auto execute on the company’s sales strategy while supporting business initiatives that drive long term profitable growth.

This position is remote, however, due to frequent local travel requirements, applicants must reside the Southern Florida area with frequent visits to Miami

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Influencing Agent Behavior:  

  • Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.

  • Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.

  • Utilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior, and drive results.

• Agency Diagnostics and Cross Selling:

  • Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings.

• Agency Management and Support:

  • Responsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents.

  • Provides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency.

  • Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory.

  • Stays current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes.

• Collaboration and Mentoring

  • Actively participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.

  • Assist in the implementation of new production launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience required with 1+ years of Commercial insurance experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing preferred).

• Bilingual English/Spanish a highly preferred

• Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.

• Effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.

• Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.

• Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.

• Highly skilled and effective at time management.

• Should possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills and be a logical problem solver.

• Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.

• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.

The range for this position is $79,500 to $132,900. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.  This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
