Description

A little about us

The Sales Intelligence & AI team within Yahoo Ads drives field efficiency by building and deploying actionable, AI-powered automation across our business operations. We act as a high-velocity innovation hub, empowering team members to transform tactical ideas into robust, scalable operational solutions.

About the Role

Yahoo Ads is seeking an AI Portfolio Operations Manager to help scale how the field works with and builds with AI by operating the systems, rhythms, and governance around the team's AI portfolio and Business Builder ecosystem. You will ensure field demand is prioritized effectively, solutions are adopted and utilized, and what reaches users delivers measurable business value.

In this role, you will support a community of approximately 200 business users and turn field demand into governed, reusable solutions. You will partner closely with the Product Manager and other Sales Intelligence & AI team members to determine what is worth building, what should be scaled, and where additional intervention is needed to keep outcomes on track. You will also own the operating rhythm around peer review, governance, adoption, and user engagement so the team can move quickly while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards. This includes running the builder factory: the intake visibility, review checkpoints, distribution mechanisms, and community enablement that move ideas from request to field-ready solution.

This role is ideal for a strong operator who is comfortable working across technical and non-technical audiences, brings structure to fast-moving environments, and focuses on outcomes over activity. Success in it requires strong judgment, communication, process discipline, and the ability to connect field needs with practical execution inside a high-velocity AI operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and scale the Business Builder ecosystem, including the progression ladder from general application to power user to power builder.

  • Own the outcomes of the AI portfolio, including whether field demand is being met, solutions are being adopted and utilized, and delivered tools are creating measurable value.

  • Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize work against business impact and help determine what is worth building and scaling.

  • Manage the peer-review system against established SLAs, ensuring reviews move on time while maintaining the quality bar before solutions reach the field.

  • Enforce governance standards so that everything that ships meets quality, safety, and compliance expectations.

  • Drive distribution, change management, and ongoing utilization of the team's tools and capabilities among business users.

  • Own the AI Hub as users' primary destination for tools, guidance, updates, and resources.

  • Use visibility from the shared intake process to monitor portfolio health, identify when outcomes are at risk, and engage project-management support when dedicated task tracking is needed.

  • Champion field engagement by leading enablement touchpoints, surfacing success stories, and keeping the builder ecosystem active and connected.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in program management, adoption, operations, enablement, or a similar role bridging technical teams and non-technical business users.

  • Hands-on experience using modern AI and GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Copilot) to augment workflows, craft prompts, or automate manual processes.

  • Demonstrated track record of owning portfolio outcomes and running governance mechanisms without creating operational bottlenecks.

  • Data literacy and analytical skill, with experience using AI tools or operational dashboards to measure business results and monitor project health.

  • Strong organizational, process discipline, and communication skills, with comfort operating in fast-moving, evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales operations, field enablement or another field facing function.

  • Experience facilitating change management or enterprise rollouts for AI-driven tooling and workflows.

  • Familiarity with evaluating and testing low-code/no-code AI builders and custom prompt solutions.

The material job duties and responsibilities of this role include those listed above as well as adhering to Yahoo policies; exercising sound judgment; working effectively, safely and inclusively with others; exhibiting trustworthiness and meeting expectations; and safeguarding business operations and brand integrity.
