About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Enabler to join our Legal team within a Global pharmaceutical company. This role is critical in supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution across a range of commercial and non-commercial agreements. Additionally, the Contracts Enabler will be responsible for reviewing, red-lining, and negotiating various Agreements such as Master Level Agreements (MLAs), Child Level Agreements (including Statements of Work and Work Orders), and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) to ensure alignment with company policies and risk tolerances.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Enabler to join our Legal team within a global pharmaceutical company. This role is critical in supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution across a range of commercial, vendor, and clinical agreements.
Our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform is Ironclad, and we are specifically looking for a candidate who is well-versed and has hands-on experience with CLM tools, preferably Ironclad. Familiarity with Ironclad will be a strong advantage, as the role involves working directly within the platform to manage contract workflows, approvals, and repository functions
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management
- Serve as key liaison for Ironclad CLM.
- Maintain licenses, user roles, and notifications.
- Coordinate subscription renewals and upgrades.
Workflow Oversight
- Design and update workflows (Launch Forms, conditional logic).
- Assign workflows based on department, cost, and triggers.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of workflows.
Stakeholder Support
- Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, and training.
- Guide agreement preparation and process overrides.
- Contract Review & Negotiation
- Review, red-line, and negotiate Master Level Agreements (MLAs), Child Level Agreements (e.g., Statements of Work, Addenda, Work Orders), and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) in coordination with business owners and counterparties. Ensure that negotiated terms comply with Azurity’s contracting policies, applicable laws/regulations, and risk-management guidelines. Escalate material deviations to Legal Counsel, recommend alternative clauses, and document negotiation history within the Ironclad CLM platform.
Reporting
- Generate SLA and ad-hoc reports for Finance and stakeholders.
- Analyze contract metrics and processing status.
Tool & Process Updates
- Monitor Ironclad updates; attend Academy webinars.
- Enforce PRF approvals and maintain SharePoint resources.
- Create and manage Legal Clause Library and SOPs.
Signatory Coordination
- Ensure correct signatory assignment per policy.
- Support policy updates and compliance.
Metadata & Documentation
- Validate metadata and document completeness.
- Create Contract Families and flag inaccuracies.
Training & Communication
- Train stakeholders and legal team on Ironclad.
- Manage Contracts inbox and internal communications.
- Maintain intranet pages and Champions Team updates.
Template & Integration Management
- Maintain standard agreement templates on SharePoint.
- Integrate Ironclad with DocuSign and other tools.
- Set up auto-email notifications.
Project Leadership
- Lead/assist CLM projects (e.g., restructuring, migration).
- Coordinate contract file migrations during acquisitions
Required Skills and Experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with clinical trial agreements, vendor contracts, or regulatory documentation.
- Familiarity with GxP, and other pharmaceutical industry standards.
