At Team Global Express, we're transforming the way Australia moves. We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Analyst to join our Freight Finance team, partnering with leaders across our national Palletised Express business.
Supporting a network of more than 30 branches generating over $700 million in annual revenue, you'll provide the commercial insights that drive smarter decisions, improve profitability and influence business strategy.
This is more than a reporting role it's an opportunity to become a trusted commercial partner, working alongside Finance, Operations and Sales to optimise pricing, improve network performance and identify opportunities for growth.
What you'll be doing
Partner with senior leaders to deliver commercial insights that drive business performance.
Analyse customer, branch and network profitability to identify opportunities to improve margins.
Support pricing strategy, yield management and cost-to-serve analysis.
Provide financial analysis across linehaul, depot operations and last-mile delivery.
Help improve performance across regional and underperforming branches through data-driven recommendations.
Deliver meaningful reporting, forecasting and commercial modelling to support strategic decision-making.
About you
You'll be a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys solving complex business problems and influencing decision-making through data and insight.
You'll bring:
Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Analysis.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
The ability to translate complex data into practical commercial recommendations.
Experience partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills (Power BI experience will be highly regarded).
A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
