OPS Security Engineer Firewall and Proxy Filtering Services Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as an OPS Security Engineer specializing in Firewall & Proxy Filtering Services. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic client projects, bringing your expertise to diverse environments and contributing to the client’s IT security operations.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the daily management of firewall flow requests as part of the client’s security operations.
• Resolve incidents related to firewall and security policies, ensuring robust protection for the client’s infrastructure.
• Contribute your firewall technology experience to project teams, supporting the implementation of secure solutions.
• Maintain firewall configurations in line with security policies and document all changes and updates.
• Manage all requests in compliance with the client’s security rules and regulatory obligations.
• Perform deep analysis and provide evidence for audits, flow recertifications, and reporting activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in firewall environments.
• Proven expertise in Firewall, IPS/IDS, and cloud micro-segmentation.
• Experience with firewall rules implementation and policy optimization.
• Incident resolution experience in security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet technologies.
• Familiarity with Service Now (IT Service Management module).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including automatic reporting (VBA, Python).
• Strong knowledge of security, networking, and architecture principles.
• Proven experience in analysis and audit reporting is preferable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is mandatory.
• Certifications such as PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator), CompTIA Network+, or CCNA are highly valued.
• Language requirements: English (mandatory), French (desired), Dutch (nice to have).
• Expectation: 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
