Job Description

At Arctic Wolf, you won’t just watch the cybersecurity industry evolve – you'll help lead the change. Our global Pack is made up of people who thrive on solving hard problems, moving fast, and building technology that protects organizations around the world. We’re proud to be recognized by Forbes, CNBC, Fortune, CRN, Bartner Peer Insights and IDC MarketScape – but what matters most is the work behind it: delivering real outcomes for customers through award winning innovation like our Aurora Platform.

If you’re looking for meaningful work, smart teammates and the chance to make a real impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining security operations, Arctic Wolf is the right place for you!

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Senior Product Program Manager to be part of making this/that happen.

Position Overview and Objective

The Beta Manager is responsible for defining, operating, and continuously improving Arctic Wolf's customer-facing Beta Program. This role serves as the central coordinator for all beta initiatives, ensuring that new products, capabilities, integrations, and enhancements are validated by customers prior to General Availability.

The Beta Manager partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Product Marketing, Legal, Security, and IT teams to ensure beta programs deliver meaningful customer insights, measurable product improvements, and successful market launches.

This role owns beta program governance, participant recruitment, feedback collection, issue escalation, success measurement, reporting, and executive communications. The Beta Manager ensures every beta delivers actionable product validation while creating a positive customer experience and strengthening customer advocacy.

Own the company's Voice of Customer (VoC) strategy for pre-GA products, ensuring customer insights directly influence product strategy, priorities, and release decisions.

Serve as the executive authority for release readiness recommendations, including Go, No-Go, or Conditional Go recommendations for General Availability milestones.

Responsibilities

Product Validation Leadership

Establish measurable product validation frameworks to quantify product-market fit, customer value realization, and adoption readiness before General Availability.

Partner with Product Management to ensure beta findings directly influence roadmap prioritization, backlog refinement, and investment decisions.

Customer Advisory Relationships

Build and manage a strategic network of beta champions, design partners, customer advisory board members, and executive customer sponsors.

Create closed-loop feedback processes that ensure customers understand how their feedback influenced product decisions.

Beta Program Strategy & Governance

  • Define and maintain company-wide Beta Program policies, standards, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Establish consistent criteria for beta qualification, acceptance, execution, success measurement, and graduation to General Availability.
  • Maintain governance processes for intake, prioritization, approvals, and executive visibility.
  • Manage the Beta Command Center and associated operational cadences.

Beta Planning & Execution

  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define beta objectives, scope, timelines, success criteria, and exit requirements.
  • Develop beta execution plans, including onboarding, communications, support, training, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure beta readiness across product, support, documentation, legal, operational, and customer-facing teams.
  • Manage multiple concurrent beta programs across the product portfolio.

Customer Recruitment & Engagement

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Product Management to identify and recruit qualified beta participants.
  • Maintain participant profiles, segmentation, and engagement history.
  • Lead customer onboarding and enablement activities.
  • Establish trusted relationships with beta participants and executive customer sponsors.

Customer Feedback Management

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative customer feedback.
  • Facilitate feedback review sessions with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Ensure customer requests, issues, and enhancement opportunities are documented and tracked.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on participant feedback.

Risk, Dependency & Issue Management

  • Identify and manage program risks, blockers, customer concerns, and operational dependencies.
  • Escalate critical issues to Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and engagement throughout beta participation.
  • Drive issue resolution and mitigation planning.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop beta performance dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Track enrollment, activation, engagement, adoption, satisfaction, defect trends, and feature utilization.
  • Measure beta effectiveness and business impact.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and executive sponsors.

Advocacy & Reference Development

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Marketing to identify advocacy opportunities.
  • Support customer reference programs, testimonials, case studies, and speaking opportunities.
  • Transition successful beta participants into customer advocacy programs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze beta outcomes and implement process improvements.
  • Define best practices and reusable frameworks for future beta initiatives.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture focused on product validation and adoption.
  • Drive operational excellence throughout the beta lifecycle.

Experience & Requirements
