Job description

•    Lead the Europe MES Practice by defining and executing the regional MES strategy, driving practice growth, building service offerings, and establishing Hitachi Digital Services as a trusted Manufacturing IT and Smart Factory transformation partner across industries.
•    Drive business development and pre-sales activities by engaging with clients, understanding business challenges, shaping digital manufacturing roadmaps, leading solution workshops, preparing proposals/RFP responses, developing effort estimates, and supporting sales pursuits to win new business.
•    Develop and enhance MES offerings by creating reusable accelerators, industry-specific solutions, implementation methodologies, and partnerships
•    Lead end-to-end solution delivery for large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing IT transformation programs, ensuring successful project execution, solution quality, governance, stakeholder management, and customer satisfaction across Europe.
•    Provide technical and consulting leadership by guiding solution architecture, manufacturing process optimization, ISA-95/ISA-88 standards adoption, integration with ERP, SCADA, PLC, Historians, and Industrial IoT platforms, while mentoring delivery teams and developing MES capabilities.
•    Build and manage strategic client relationships with manufacturing executives and plant leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to identify digital transformation opportunities, expand existing engagements, and drive long-term account growth.
•    Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing IT and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including significant experience in consulting, client engagement, pre-sales, solution architecture, business development, and delivery leadership within discrete and/or process manufacturing industries.
