What you will do
Servicing and sales of Fire Extinguishers, Restaurant and Suppression Systems, Emergency Light & Exit Light, Safety Supplies.
How you will do it
- The qualified candidate will control a route, servicing existing fire extinguisher, kitchen hood, e-light, and pre-engineered and possibly engineered gas system customers.
- Upsell products and services to customers as needed to help maintain compliance with current fire codes.
- Sell new accounts on the route based on the same compliance criteria. Complete all necessary paperwork as required and meet deadlines for submission to the district.
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and annual quotas as established by the Suppression Manager.
- Comply with all customer service obligations as set forth by the manager, as well as all company policies established by the company.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Suppression Manager.
What we look for
- One year experience in servicing and sales of Fire Extinguishers. Direct sales experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong organizational and good communication skills.
- Have the ability to work with their hands and possess mechanical skills. Some fire suppression business experience preferred but not necessary.
- Have the ability to manage a route servicing existing and new customers for fire protection equipment and work on flexible hours when necessary.
- Have PC knowledge and a good understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Full G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willing and able to work evenings, early mornings, and other shifts as required to meet business needs.
- Must be able to successfully pass standard background checks.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.00 - $30.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
