Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time - Logistics Site in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help maintain a secure environment. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business interior, exterior, and perimeter, as applicable to the location.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
