This is a 2nd shift lead position with hours from 2p-12a Monday-Friday. We will pay a evening shift differential as well as offer other bonuses and tool allowances.

Key Responsibilities
Shop Leadership & Autonomy: Manage daily shop workflow, perform diagnostic write-ups, coordinate repair schedules, and assume shop supervisory duties in the absence of the Supervisor/Manager.
Diagnostics & Repairs: Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair heavy diesel, gas, and electrically operated equipment, rolling stock, and fleet vehicles.
Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and complete preventive maintenance in full compliance with federal, state, and corporate safety standards.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct DVIR reviews, maintain clean and safe shop conditions, and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Administrative & Technical Precision: Log work orders, order parts, track accurate labor hours, and keep up with cutting-edge technology via manuals and technical training seminars.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in heavy truck and diesel repair.
Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and completed DOT certifications for air brake inspection/adjustment and annual vehicle inspections.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs frequently, operate power/hand tools, and work comfortably around moving mechanical parts. Must meet safety-sensitive position criteria.
