Join our team as a Business Development Manager, where you’ll manage customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities and help customers realise the value of LexisNexis products.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with customers and colleagues to protect and grow revenue while delivering a high-quality customer experience. You’ll use your product and market knowledge to understand account needs, resolve key issues and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Coach and support team members to achieve shared goals.
- Complete planning, documentation, reporting and data recording in line with agreed methods and targets.
- Meet or exceed product revenue targets by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify key account issues and needs, and demonstrate the business value of LexisNexis products.
- Deliver a customer experience that meets agreed quality and contact-frequency targets.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to protect and grow revenue.
Requirements
- Product knowledge across print and online solutions, together with relevant domain and market knowledge.
- Experience adopting and promoting new products.
- The ability to act as a positive role model and influence colleagues across the team and wider business.
- A consistent record of meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Strong communication, time-management and planning skills.
- The ability to identify commercial opportunities.
- Customer service and sales-support experience.
- Experience retaining and growing customers in a B2B sales environment.
