Agile Project Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a client who is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a delivery-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and has a proven track record of delivering technology projects that create meaningful business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects within a financial services environment.
• Manage project planning, governance, budgets, forecasting, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines.
• Drive Agile delivery practices while ensuring alignment with project objectives and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.
• Oversee projects involving system integrations, APIs, technology migrations and multi-system dependencies.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, delivery challenges and roadblocks.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT project management.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects successfully.
• Strong Agile and Scrum experience, with Agile certification being advantageous.
• Solid understanding of project governance, planning, risk management and dependency management.
• Experience managing project budgets, financial forecasts and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of technology environments, including APIs, system integrations and migrations.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and preferably Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience within financial services or banking will be highly advantageous.
• Strong decision-making ability with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
