Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p

Salary: $82,825.00 - $115,453.00 per year

 

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Drive Strategic Surgical Business Development: Design and execute targeted physician outreach and market expansion plans to increase referral volumes and expand regional market share for DCMC pediatric surgical specialties.

  • Cultivate High-Value Provider & Surgeon Partnerships: Partner directly with pediatric surgeons to articulate specialized clinical offerings, communicate value propositions, and execute individual practice growth strategies.

  • Execute Targeted Market & Referral Analytics: Utilize CRM platforms and healthcare analytics to audit referral trends, evaluate market share, monitor competitor activity, and measure outreach ROI to guide growth strategies.

  • Streamline Access & Resolve Operational Barriers: Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks that hinder referral workflows or surgical access, collaborating with clinic leadership to elevate the referring provider experience.

  • Capitalize on PRM Team Synergy: Collaborate closely with established primary care PRMs to leverage existing independent pediatrician relationships and convert primary care connections into surgical referral pathways.

  • Align Capacity with Leadership Strategy: Partner with DCMC hospital executives, operational directors, and outpatient leaders to ensure clinical capacity and surgical block times seamlessly support outreach expansion.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Healthcare Sales & Physician Relations Tenure: Proven track record in healthcare sales, physician liaison roles, medical practice development, or clinical operations (experience in pediatric or surgical specialties is strongly preferred).

  • High-Acuity Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build immediate credibility, trust, and alignment with highly specialized pediatric surgeons, primary care physicians, and health system executives.

  • CRM & Data Analytics Command: Strong proficiency in leveraging CRM software, market intelligence tools, and referral metrics to drive territory planning and demonstrate business growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between clinical operations, executive leadership, and external community providers.

  • Territory & Time Management Precision: Highly organized self-starter capable of managing a large geographic footprint across the Austin market while balancing field outreach with strategic reporting.
